Service Description

Lumecca is a non-invasive, intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that improves the appearance of the skin by treating a variety of concerns: Red thread veins, irregular pigmentation, broken capillaries, age spots, rosacea, scarring & sun damage. The great thing about this treatment is that although there may be downtime (for pigmentation correction especially, you can apply make up a few hours later!) Also, no numbing required, you will however require a patch test 24/48 hours prior to treatment. Lumecca works by using flashes of light to break down pigment and target melanin-producing cells and hemoglobin in capillaries. The treatment is comfortable and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage & hands.  You can notice improvements after one session, but a course of 3–5 treatments is recommended for best results, depending on your concerns & goals. Most people experience some redness after treatment, which typically only lasts a few days. Other side effects include crusting or blistering, and flaking of pigmented areas. It is important to note that if treating areas of pigmentation, the pigmentation darkens before disappearing, whereas red thread veins can disappear immediately. Any downtime is definitely worth it for that 'glass skin' result!
