SE1 Medical Aesthetics London PLLA

Collagen induction, volume restoration & correction of skin imperfections

1hr £275 with an SE1 doctor/surgeon

Poly-l-lactic acid was approved in 2004 to treat lipoatrophy (thinning of the fat pads on the face) associated with the HIV virus. Sculptra (brand name) then received its FDA approval in 2009 for improving the appearance of nasolabial folds contour changes and other facial wrinkles.

As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face. Poly-l-lactic acid is used to create structure, framework, and volume to the face. PLLA is known as a bio-stimulator, this means it stimulates your own skin to produce new collagen. Over time your skin breaks down PLLA into water and carbon dioxide. The effects of PLLA appear gradually over a few months, producing natural results.

This product combined with the effects of microneedling gives phenomenal results, great as a one off treatment, but like all things skincare (patience & consistency) even better as a course. We recommend a course of 6, each a month apart. Think plumper, smoother, clear skin and almost no downtime!

Included in your treatment:

Double cleanse

Ice Globes

LED Light Therapy

SPF (tinted or none)

For best results a course of 6 is advised.
