Your 1 hour treatment with an SE1 Medical Aesthetics surgeon/doctor includes the following:
Cleanse, tone, microneedling (depth 0.75 - 2.5mm depending on your skin concerns, skin health & goals), mask, ice globes, LED Light Therapy, moisturiser, SPF, lip balm.

Downtime depends on your body's response and the needle depth.

As we grow older, the cycle of new skin growth slows and less collagen and elastin are produced. This results in fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots (pigmentation). Applying creams and serums to your face may succeed in moisturising the outer layer of dead skin, but no penetration takes place to the living part of the skin. The active molecules are simply too big to pass through the ultra protective epidermis layer.

Microneedling creates "micro-channels" which allow for deeper penetration of serums and ingredients results in higher efficacy, meaning you get more out of your active serums than usual. These micro injuries also trigger the body’s natural healing process to create the appearance of fresher,  rejuvenated skin.

Microneedling is a process called collagen induction therapy (CIT). CIT is the skin’s own ability to repair itself, creating controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair process by making deliberate micro injuries to the skin. This then creates and triggers the release of growth factors for the production of new collagen and elastin, which we lose as we age.
