What is wrinkle treatment?

Our body may develop lines that affect our self confidence. This is usually the consequence of the normal aging process but also can be caused by skin damage. A wide range of anti-wrinkle treatments have been used in aesthetics for over 30 years. In specific cases the use of products blocking the signals between the nerves & the muscles may be indicated and the effects may last for up to 3 months on average.

An initial consultation with our surgeon/doctor is always required. The subsequent wrinkle treatment procedures usually take around 30 minutes, and you can generally return to day-to-day activities immediately. Our surgeon/doctor will give you professional advice and detailed instructions on the aftercare, with all dos and don'ts. The overall result is typically a smoother, more youthful appearance.

If you wish to go ahead with treatment the same day this is possible however, same day procedures are only undertaken where the procedure is deemed appropriate by our surgeon/doctor after a thorough assessment and consultation and the patient fully understands the potential benefits, alternatives, cost, risks, potential side effects and complications of the chosen treatment and will be giving their consent to proceed based on that information.

We do advise that you take time to think about the information given to you during the consultation. We are able to schedule a follow up treatment date, if you do not wish to have your treatment on the same day as the consultation.
